Flower quantity is only a proxy. Choose one patch, watch for ten quiet minutes and tally distinct visits. Repeat at two times of day to see which planting is genuinely useful.

Persistent wetness can limit oxygen even when foliage looks thirsty. Check drainage holes, saucers and compacted mix before adding more water.
